Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team and lead the design, development, and optimization of mission-critical applications across our cloud and client platforms. This role will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, modern software that supports our organization’s growth and enhances the user experience. This role will provide the opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies in a high impact environment, collaborative team culture with strong engineering values, and professional development mentoring., * Migrate and re-platform the existing C3 / JobSiteCare system off Salesforce into a modern C#/.NET architecture ahead of contractual deadlines., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#/.NET 6+, including backend APIs and shared libraries.

  • Build cross-platform client applications using .NET MAUI for mobile and desktop environments.
  • Develop high-performance web front-ends using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript tooling.
  • Implement cloud-native application architectures leveraging Azure PaaS offerings such as Azure App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management, Logic Apps, and Storage.
  • Design scalable and resilient microservices or modular monolithic architectures, depending on project needs.

Database Engineering

  • Design and optimize relational schemas in Azure SQL Database.
  • Implement stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning to ensure highly available, performant data access layers.
  • Work with data architects to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

DevOps & Cloud Operations

  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to define CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Participate in environment configuration, infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and application monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.

AI-Assisted Development

  • Work effectively alongside AI coding tools and agentic development workflows (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality and security.
  • Ensure all AI-assisted work is performed within Company-approved accounts and tooling to preserve code history, usage governance, and data security.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers to elevate team technical capabilities.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, architectural discussions, and system documentation.
  • Partner with QA to ensure testability, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and responsive cross-platform user experiences.

Requirements

  • Rapidly ramp on and interpret an existing (legacy) codebase, replicating proven functionality rather than rebuilding from scratch where appropriate., * 7+ years professional experience in software development with C# and .NET.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating or modernizing legacy systems and rapidly ramping on an existing codebase under deadline pressure.
  • Strong experience with Azure PaaS services, including at least several of: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, API Management, Key Vault, and Logic Apps.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure SQL, including schema design, performance tuning, and querying.
  • Production experience building cross-platform apps using .NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms with migration experience).
  • Strong proficiency with React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm/Yarn, etc.).
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with authentication/authorization systems (e.g., Azure AD, B2C, OAuth2).
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native best practices, distributed systems, and application performance patterns.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with modern DevOps workflows.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI-handling requirements in a healthcare software environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with NoSQL solutions (Cosmos DB, Table Storage, Blob Storage).
  • Experience with message-driven architectures or event-based systems.
  • Prior work with automated testing frameworks (xUnit, Jest, Playwright, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud applications (OWASP, zero-trust, secret management).
  • Knowledge of healthcare security best practices for cloud applications (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) is a plus.
  • Exposure to Blazor or other .NET UI frameworks is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
