Job description

This position provides Windows System Administration services including installation, integration and configuration of Windows, VMWare, and Hyper-V servers, as well as the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Instructions (SOI’s) in support of the Stingernet Portfolio. This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, backups and service requests in the support of program area IT environments at the Waterton, CO campus., Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Requirements

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility IAT II certification (Security+, etc.) SME level experience with the following: Active Directory (Domain Services, Certificate Services, Federative Services, Trusts, PKI) Experience with Windows Server (Server 2022, 2025) including backups, hardening, monitoring, tuning, and patching Extensive knowledge of HPE / Dell server hardware maintenance, deployment, patching, automation (HP Oneview, Ilo, IDRAC, etc.) Experience using VMWare or Hyper-V tools for virtualization Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e., system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus Trellix, WSUS, MECM, Ivanti, Splunk)

Desired skills

IAT III / IAM III (SecurityX, CISSP, etc.) Experience utilizing Linux integration with Active Directory (SSD, IDM) Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Requirements Experience with storage technologies (i.e., NetApp, Nimble, Racktop) Knowledge of Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, PowerShell, Scorch/Runbooks, Terraform, Chef, Puppet) Architecting heavy virtualized environments/private clouds (HyperV, VMware, Azure local, KVM, Nutanix) Tuning SR-IOV / vRSS networking offloads, and configuring MPIO paths over Fibre Channel and iSCSI Managing advanced clusters and virtual desktop environments (RDS, HorizonView, Xen desktop)

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
