Job description
- Research the technical feasibility of Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) in alignment with federal customer demand signals and emerging mission requirements.
- Provide technical oversight and analysis of cloud architecture design activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security best practices.
- Analyze federal customer demand signals to inform strategic decision-making and develop technology roadmaps.
- Evaluate Anything as a Service (XaaS) CSOs and assess specifications against DoD security, compliance, and performance requirements.
- Brief the user community on cloud adoption initiatives; contribute to user community round tables and technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Strategic Partners.
- Coordinate input preparation for verifying CSP requirements in Government tools; assess other DoD contract capabilities and CSP deliverables.
- Provide analysis on cloud contract utilization relative to commercial trends and industry practices.

Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with personnel at all levels, including senior leadership and technical staff.
- Familiarity with DoD security requirements as applied to cloud architecture and enterprise IT.
- Experience working in an IT environment similar in size and scope to this requirement.
- Strong working knowledge of large, complex, enterprise-scale IT environments.
- Must hold all required certifications in accordance with DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 11 years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture and design, OR 15 years of total, demonstrated experience in enterprise cloud architecture and design (in lieu of degree). Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with SCI eligibility and indoctrination required
