Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS Application DBA)

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS Application DBA) to support and maintain enterprise Oracle database and application environments. This role will be responsible for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration, Oracle Database management, WebLogic support, system performance, troubleshooting, and platform optimization., * Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x environments.

• Manage Oracle Database 19c+ and RAC environments on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, cloning, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Administer Oracle WebLogic Server, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor database health, security, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle EBS, database, and middleware issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Support system migrations, upgrades, and cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement best practices and improve platform reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and support enterprise data platform initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, WebLogic, and Linux/Unix environments. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud applications is a plus., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Strong experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c or newer.
• Experience administering Oracle RAC environments.
• Strong Oracle WebLogic Server administration experience.
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting experience.
• Experience with database backup/recovery, patching, cloning, and performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, or Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Experience with Oracle Middleware technologies such as SOA Suite and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA, OCI Architect, WebLogic Administrator) are a plus., * How many years of Oracle Database Administration experience do you have with Oracle 19c or newer?
• This position is available only on a W2 basis. Are you able to work directly as a W2 employee?
