SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) Consultant to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Your expertise will drive the customization and enhancement of SAP modules to meet evolving business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and optimal performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements and scalability
• Conduct system analysis and design for new SAP modules or upgrades, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and SAP system integrations promptly
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code changes, technical specifications, and system configurations
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities in line with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development within a complex enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP is preferred
• Proficiency in integrating ABAP with other technologies like SAP PI/PO, BAPI, IDoc, RESTful APIs, and web services
• Familiarity with database systems such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server for data manipulation and reporting
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), UML diagrams, and system design principles for scalable solutions
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies and using version control tools like Git or TFS
• Ability to perform debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning of ABAP programs effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams
