Project Engineer - Human System Interface

As a Project Engineer specializing in Information Management Systems (IM) within the Human System Interface division, you will drive innovative customer solutions from the initial inquiry through to successful commissioning.

Reporting directly to Norbert Stiller, you will take responsibility for demanding projects and make a decisive contribution to the digital future of our customers - always with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Shape projects: Support HSI and IM systems from planning through successful customer handover
• Inspire customers: Collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored solutions and concepts
• Select the right technology: Define optimal hardware and software solutions and ensure smooth implementation
• Bring systems to life: Install, configure, and commission modern information management systems
• Connect globally: Act as a key contact for international customers and ABB units, both remotely and on site
• Stay close to the customer: With around 30% travel, experience projects directly at customer locations
• Deliver added value: Ensure high customer satisfaction and build long-term partnerships
• Take ownership: Work independently and actively contribute to business success in line with our values

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Solid technical background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification

• Practical experience: Initial experience with information management systems is an advantage
• Affinity for technology: Confident handling of Microsoft systems and interest in modern IT infrastructure
• IT expertise: Knowledge of networking, IT security, and virtualization technologies
• International mindset: Good English skills for collaboration in a global environment
• Safety awareness: Responsible working style and strong commitment to occupational safety
• Willingness to learn: Curiosity for new technologies and continuous professional development
