Within CEVA FVL Liner Division, the Solution Design Expert GHO supports business growth by coordinating the creation and pricing of technical solutions for new and existing customers via the Regional SD ecosystem in place. This includes analyzing RFQs, understanding customer needs (spoken and unspoken), helping to design optimal logistics processes, and exploring innovations to deliver competitive and robust solutions.
The Solution Design GHO is the 1st point of contact for Solution Design in the regions; he/she supports and promotes CIC and RoRo development at global level. He/She works with BD’s & FVL Sales to promote CIC and RoRo products.
The Solution Design GHO reports to the Procurement & SD Senior Manager GHO, and collaborates with SD & BD teams across FVL regions.

Opportunities coordination & solution design
Oversee the CiC and RoRo opportunity pipeline and ensure proper follow-up across the regions. Ensures delivery of high-quality, timely responses to tenders, meeting required deadlines. Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to define key solution principles, ensuring alignment with client needs and CEVA FVL Liner’s strategic objectives. Review & approves P&L analysis built by the Region/country SD to ensure business profitability aligned with CEVA FVL’s strategy. Actively follow up with BDs on opportunities to gather and address customer feedback. For successful bids, ensure a seamless handover
Performance Indicators: Quality of pipeline reviews, adherence to tender submission deadlines, compliance with established processes (quotation preparation, margin validation, pre-onboarding with the Control Tower).
Participation in Customer Meetings
Support the Business Development team by taking a leading role in meetings with existing and potential customers, particularly in technical sessions to present solutions and in introductory meetings to identify customer needs.

Solution Development & Optimization
Participation in SD process at global level Support the Region SD in the expansion of CiC solution coverage within regions, focusing on priority countries defined by the global team. Drive innovation by proactively seeking optimization opportunities wherever possible. Promote continuous improvement by regularly challenging regions/ countries on the cost of existing solutions to generate savings and enhance CiC product competitiveness. Ensure the maintenance of a regional repository of local charges that is easily accessible to the SD team worldwide. Ensure visibility and accessibility of solutions by Region SD’s regular updates on the dedicated SharePoint (CFS one-pagers, list of solution locations) and by storing tariffs and P&Ls on SharePoint.
Requirements
Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Science/Engineering 8-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport management. Practical knowledge and experience in FVL or Ocean transportation Excellent analytical skills. Excellent stakeholder skills, able to engage and align multiple stakeholders around the same objective. Very good formal presentation skills. Very good knowledge of MS Office Fluency in English & French (written and spoken). Result-oriented with good analytical skills. Active listener with excellent negotiation and communication skills. Can work globally with all levels in the business and all countries/cultures. Positive, confident personality. Able to simplify complex concepts into simple drawings or summaries to communicate them to a non-technical audience.
