Job description

Seeking a Microsoft Copilot Studio Engineer for a 6-month contract to design and deliver AI-powered conversational solutions. The role focuses on building scalable Copilot and Power Platform applications, integrating workflows, and ensuring governance, security, and performance. Ideal for someone experienced in conversational AI, platform administration, and translating business needs into intelligent automation solutions., An organisation is seeking a Microsoft Copilot Studio Engineer for a 6-month contract to design, develop, and deliver intelligent conversational and automation solutions. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to transform requirements into secure, scalable, and production-ready Copilot and agent-based applications., * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate functional and technical requirements into AI-driven solutions

  • Design, build, and maintain conversational agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform ecosystem
  • Develop and integrate automated workflows using Power Automate, Dataverse, and related Microsoft services
  • Establish and enforce governance, standards, and best practices across Copilot Studio and conversational AI solutions
  • Administer platform environments, including security configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Provide expertise on licensing models, capacity planning, and cost optimisation across Power Platform solutions
  • Deliver secure, high-quality solutions within a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents and the wider Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  • Experience designing conversational AI solutions, including intents, topics, and generative AI capabilities
  • Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance within the Power Platform ecosystem
  • Experience with platform administration, including environment strategy and solution lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and ability to advise stakeholders on best practice and cost optimisation
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs and standard integration patterns
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly AI solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative, team-based environments
  • Experience delivering solutions within regulated or complex industries (e.g. energy or similar sectors) is advantageous
