Technician-Production Support

• Provide total support for production equipment and services
• Work with operators to optimize machine utilization
• Troubleshoot machine issues while minimizing downtime
• Assist in product changeovers
• Assist engineering to resolve quality and process issues
• Collaborate with production supervisor to plan daily support priorities
• Perform line operation when needed
• Basic SMT machine, AOI and selective soldering programming skills
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electronics
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with a team or independently as needed
• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description
• Must follow all company policies outlined in the EI Microcircuits Employee Handbook of Personnel Policies
• Complete all orientation and training needs as written in policy, * Post-secondary education in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, maintenance, or a related field is required
• 1 year of experience with electronic assembly preferred
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or PLC’s preferred
