Job description

  • Analyze data using statistical software (e.g., Python, R)

  • Extract and aggregate data from large sets using SQL, Hive, Spark and other tools

  • Deploy and support predictive modeling packages and monitor and calibrate production models

  • Solve problems with innovative data science techniques

  • Collaborate with data science colleagues and other Visa teams to provide insights to clients.

  • Automate and create repeatable analyses or self-service tools

  • Ensure timely project delivery to meet business needs

  • Promote data innovations and analytics education within Visa

  • Optimize code for critical business processes

  • Design and develop dashboards using software like Tableau or Power BI

Requirements

What we’d like from you -

  • Experience in consolidating and analyzing large, unstructured datasets.
  • Experience in coding algorithms and automated data processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in French and English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in payment card or information security industry, or all-source cyber intelligence organizations.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and machine learning tasks.
  • Experience with Spark for big data processing and analytics.
  • Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
