Job description

As the market leader in brand implementation and maintenance, we help the world’s most recognized brands show up consistently-everywhere they operate. From exterior signage and interior branding to site refreshes, digital signage, and ongoing repair and maintenance, we bring brands to life where it matters most. Our work extends far beyond installation-we become a long-term partner in helping brands succeed. At Stratus, every employee plays a direct role in that impact. We operate with a strong commitment to customer service, a focus on execution, and a bias for action. If you’re looking for a place where your contributions are visible, your growth is supported, and your work makes a real difference, you’ll find it here. The Opportunity

The IFS Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting solutions within Stratus’ IFS Cloud ERP platform. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-quality technical solutions while following IFS development best practices.

The ideal candidate combines strong software development experience with expertise in IFS extensibility, integrations, reporting, and database development. This individual plays a key role in enhancing our ERP capabilities while ensuring solutions remain upgrade-friendly, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Responsibilities:

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain custom solutions within the IFS Cloud ERP platform.
  • Build and support Configurations, Reports, Integrations, and Modifications (CRIM) while following IFS development standards and best practices.
  • Configure via IFS Extensibility - deliver customer requirements without modifying IFS Core / baseline source code.
  • Handle CRIM-Uplift - manage modifications through IFS version upgrades and Service / Release updates.
  • Develop upgrade-safe solutions utilizing the IFS Extensibility Framework and avoid unnecessary modifications to core application functionality.
  • Design, develop, and support integrations between IFS and internal or third-party applications using REST APIs, web services, IFS Connect, Boomi, and related integration technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and C#/.NET code supporting enterprise applications.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, code reviews, and root cause analysis to ensure solution quality and reliability.
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend standard IFS functionality whenever possible before pursuing custom development.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, patches, and release implementations while ensuring custom solutions remain compatible.
  • Collaborate with business users, project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Document technical designs, development standards, testing procedures, and support documentation.
  • Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and technical solution design.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on IFS Cloud capabilities, new releases, emerging technologies, and development best practices.
