AI Data Engineer

• Education: Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience with strong Python and SQL.
• Experience building transformation pipelines (Airflow, Dagster, dbt, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of how LLMs consume data (tokenization, context windows, parsing).
• Experience with vector databases or embedding-based retrieval (Pinecone, pgvector, etc.).
• Understanding of data quality patterns: validation, schema enforcement, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with API-based and webhook-based data integration.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable in a consulting environment where data sources and quality vary wildly., * Experience working and integrating systems with commerce platforms (commercetools, Shopify, Kibo, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs for production-level content generation or classification.
• Experience with web scraping or content extraction pipelines.
