Job description
A Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet business needs, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Design Solutions: Create scalable and effective Salesforce solutions tailored to meet specific business requirements.
- Architectural Strategy: Develop and maintain the architectural strategy for Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implementation Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, guiding technical teams and ensuring successful delivery.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical designs, architecture documentation, and system integration plans.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices are followed and maintain data integrity and security within the Salesforce platform.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and industry trends, and continuously refine solutions to adapt to changing business needs.
Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
- 10+ years of software engineering; 5+ years as a TA on Salesforce; Salesforce Certified System Architect+ Platform Developer II required; FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 expertise essential
- Architects CI/CD pipelines, implements PIV/CAC identity management, engineers LDV strategies for millions of records, and builds RAG pipelines for Agentforce.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and integration tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
