Job description

Mission: Build world-class, digitally enabled machining systems. From NPI to scaling stable production, you’ll architect processes, write and refine CNC programs, and fuse automation into operations-delivering precision at speed. Imagine this challenge A new component family is entering production. You analyze drawings, design fixtures, and craft CAM strategies for both VMCs and multi-axis lathes. On the floor, you iterate toolpaths, tweak G/M-code, and validate Cpk. By week’s end, a robot and vision check stabilize load/unload and error-proof inspection-cutting cycle time and scrap. Core responsibilities Process design & improvement

  • Engineer scalable, cost-effective methods with clear documentation.
  • Define manufacturing approaches and validation plans for product launches.
  • Lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost throughput.

CNC programming excellence

  • Develop and optimize programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines via CAM.
  • Adjust machine code at the control; resolve programming issues quickly.
  • Refine strategies with machinists; manage program versions and libraries.

Automation & Industry 4.0

  • Implement robotics, PLCs, and vision systems to automate and error-proof.
  • Contribute to PLC logic and robot path programming.
  • Adopt CAD/CAM integrations, digital twins, and connected manufacturing tools.

Operations & technical support

  • Provide on-call support to eliminate downtime and defects.
  • Use data and KPIs to target constraints; drive corrective actions via RCA.
  • Partner with maintenance to sustain equipment reliability.

Quality & compliance leadership

  • Ensure processes meet specifications and standards at all times.
  • Develop PFMEAs, control plans, and SOPs; support audits.

Project execution

  • Plan and deliver equipment upgrades, new lines, and process improvement projects.
  • Coordinate across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.
  • Hit schedule, budget, and technical targets., * CNC program efficiency and cycle time reductions.
  • Higher machine utilization and uptime.
  • Lower scrap and rework.
  • Successful automation and process improvements.
  • On-time, on-budget project delivery., **Job Summary : ** The Screw Machine Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for Acme-Gridley and Davenport multi-spindle…
