Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable, reliable, and secure systems by translating business requirements into robust technical architectures. Your expertise will shape the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence complex system landscapes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that propel our organization forward., * Lead the architecture design for enterprise-level applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across distributed systems.

  • Develop comprehensive system architecture diagrams using UML (Unified Modeling Language) to visualize components, interactions, and workflows.
  • Define and implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles to facilitate seamless integration between diverse applications via RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices in cloud computing environments, leveraging platforms such as AWS or Azure for cloud infrastructure deployment.
  • Oversee the adoption of DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control systems such as Git or SVN to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure system design adheres to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards while promoting agile software development methodologies.
  • Guide teams in implementing scalable microservices architectures using frameworks like Spring Boot or.NET Core, emphasizing high availability and fault tolerance.

Requirements

  • 15 years of Financial Management Systems industry experience
  • 5 years as Technical Architect with an Enterprise Application (prefer Momentum implementation)
  • 10 years of technical management experience with Momentum
  • 10 years of experience working with FFS (basis for VA’s FMS) data structures
