• Monitor, review, and triage Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management alerts to identify potential true positives for escalation.
• Dismiss false positives when appropriate and document recurring patterns, trends, and observations to support detection improvement.
• Assist with maintaining and tuning insider risk policies, alert logic, and use cases to improve accuracy and reduce noise.
• Analyze user behavior, data access activity, and potential access risks in support of data governance and security objectives.
• Identify unusual data access patterns, policy violations, or activity that may indicate potential insider risk.
• Prepare clear notes, findings, and escalation details for security teams or designated investigators.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide operational feedback that improves alert quality, detection coverage, and response efficiency., * L1/L2 support role focused on alert triage, analysis, documentation, and escalation support.
• This role does not require ownership of full investigations, disciplinary decisions, or final case determinations.
• Well suited for a managed service, offshore, or nearshore delivery model supporting enterprise security operations.

• Experience in security operations, alert triage, incident response support, data protection, or L1/L2 SOC environments.
• Hands-on or working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Insider Risk Management, Data Loss Prevention, or related compliance and data security tools.
• Understanding of data governance, insider risk concepts, user behavior monitoring, and access risk indicators.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and pattern-recognition skills with the ability to distinguish false positives from potentially risky activity.
• Ability to document findings clearly and escalate concerns through defined processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a managed services or distributed support model.
