Job description

As a Remote Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate patient care and provider communication
  • Manage provider schedules and appointment coordination
  • Serve as a liaison between hospitals, providers, and primary care offices
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and healthcare facilities
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Review patient charts and maintain accurate documentation
  • Enter and update patient information within EMR systems
  • Process orders, including faxing and mailing as needed
  • Generate and review billing and operational reports
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to support quality patient care

Requirements

Psych Health Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position supporting providers and patients across the post-acute care continuum. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment., * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs
  • Previous experience with EMR systems
