Job description

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Build and update frontend pages using modern frontend frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, Blazor, or equivalent.

  • Assist in creating backend APIs and application services using .NET / ASP.NET Core.

  • Write and update SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database scripts in SQL Server and/or Oracle.

  • Help troubleshoot application issues across frontend, backend, database, and reporting layers.

  • Support business reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, or equivalent.

  • Participate in requirement review, development, testing, bug fixing, deployment support, and documentation.

  • Work with senior developers to understand existing systems and follow coding standards.

  • Use AI-assisted coding tools responsibly to help with learning, code generation, debugging, documentation, and test creation.

Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate experience with C# and .NET.

  • Basic understanding of web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

  • Basic understanding of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Blazor, or willingness to learn.

  • Basic SQL knowledge, including SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, GROUP BY, and stored procedures.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server and/or Oracle is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, and debugging tools.

  • Understanding of REST APIs and client/server communication.

  • Willingness to learn application security, authentication, authorization, and production support.

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to ask questions when requirements or code are unclear.

Preferred Skills

  • Internship, school project, or work experience with .NET web applications.

  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases.

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, BI Publisher, or Crystal Reports.

  • Experience with Git and basic source control workflow.

  • Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools.

  • Interest in legacy system modernization and learning enterprise application development.
