Job description

Under the direction of the Director of IT, this position will improve the Cyber Security for Naskila Casino. This position’s focus will be to design, build and make defendable, scalable secure and robust systems and protocols for the entire IT environment. The IT Security Engineer will also protect all Naskila Casino’s digital assets including any that are being used offsite., * Help to create security standards and practices for the organization.

  • Recommend security improvements to IT Management.
  • Test and assist to deploy and maintain tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
  • Conduct scans of network and penetration tests to look for vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor networks for breaches or intrusions.
  • Lead incident response activities and investigations into how intrusions occurred.
  • Help plan Cyber Security Strategy.
  • Work with vendors to ensure that they follow Naskila Casino security policies.
  • Monitor and report IT and Security violations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Certifications in the IT Security field, such as, CCNP, CPT, CISSP, CISA, CCSP, or Ethical Hacker.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Security professional.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in antimalware software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
  • Disaster recovery and computer forensics technologies and methods.
  • Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Expertise in supporting multiple platforms and applications.
  • Automating security testing tools.
  • Endpoints security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention., + Advanced degree focusing on Cyber Security.
  • Multiple Certifications in the required areas of expertise.
  • Experience with current hardware and software in use at Naskila Casino.
  • Experience with a Cyber-attack., * Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
  • Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.
  • Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.
  • Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.
  • Practice good personal hygiene.
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Director.
  • Position requires on-site presence.

Benefits & conditions

Salaried Position - DOE: Minimum Base Salary $83,220.80/YR

Must be flexible to work days, swings, night shifts including weekends and holidays based on business needs
