Software Engineer III

The new Software Engineer will support the LE2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong software engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer.
• You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
• You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology.
• Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to support needs.

• +3 years of professional experience for this role.

• You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required., * Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C#/C++, LabView, Python, TestStand

• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment) and HARDWARE/SOFTWARE Integration efforts on Test Equipment

• Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience

US Citizenship required: Secret Clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management
• Systems thinking mindset
• Test Equipment familiarity and integration
• Experience with Agile and DevOps processes and culture
• Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets
• Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
• Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
• Experience working on project teams and development efforts
• Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
