Sports Data Analyst

We are seeking an analytical and detail-focused Sports Data Analyst to turn sporting data into clear, actionable insights. You will support performance reporting, identify trends and help teams make informed decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, clean and analyse sports performance data
• Track player, team and competition metrics
• Identify patterns, trends and performance opportunities
• Create dashboards, visualisations and regular reports
• Ensure data remains accurate, consistent and secure
• Present analytical findings to relevant teams
• Support match, competitor and performance analysis
• Improve data collection and reporting processes

• Experience in data analysis, reporting or research
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence using Excel or similar analytical tools
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Tableau or Python is helpful
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Interest in sport, statistics or performance analysis
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
