Job description

We are looking for a commercially focused Data & Analytics Manager to help clients and internal teams make better decisions through data.

This is a specialist role for an experienced analyst who can work confidently across multiple data platforms, transforming complex datasets into actionable insight, recommendations and strategic direction.

You will be responsible for extracting, manipulating and analysing data from a variety of sources, identifying trends, investigating business questions, designing test-and-learn programmes, and presenting findings in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Working closely with Client Strategy, Account Management and Data teams, you will help uncover opportunities to improve campaign performance, audience targeting, customer value and business growth.

This role is not simply about producing reports; it is about finding answers, challenging assumptions and providing evidence-based recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.

Data Management & Platform Expertise

· Work confidently across multiple data environments including Power BI, Google Cloud

platforms, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Excel, Google Sheets and client CRM systems.

· Extract, combine, manipulate and transform data from multiple sources.

· Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across projects.

· Develop repeatable and scalable analytical processes.

· Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve efficiency.

· Maintain GDPR compliance and best practice data governance standards.

Insight Generation & Performance Analysis

· Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers.

· Deliver actionable recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and business performance.

· Conduct campaign, customer and audience analysis across acquisition, retention, reactivation and loyalty programmes.

· Translate data into commercially relevant insights and strategic recommendations.

· Support client planning and decision making through evidence-based analysis.

Advanced Analytics & Investigation

· Respond to complex client and business questions through detailed analysis and investigation.

Explore relationships between multiple variables to understand the drivers of customer and campaign behaviour.

· Conduct root cause analysis to explain performance changes and identify opportunities for optimisation.

· Use analytical techniques to uncover insights that may not be visible through standard reporting.

Reporting, Visualisation & Storytelling ·

Build, maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and performance frameworks.

· Move beyond reporting metrics to explain what happened, why it happened and what should happen next.

· Co-ordinate the collation and preparation of Post Campaign Analysis (PCA) documents

· Assist with transforming complex analysis into compelling client-ready reports and presentations, for both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Create visualisations that simplify complex information and support decision making. Stakeholder Partnership

· Act as a trusted subject matter expert for data, analytics and measurement.

· Challenge thinking constructively using evidence and insight.

· Support client conversations with clear, commercially focused recommendations.

· Help improve data literacy and analytical thinking across the business.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Do you have hands-on experience working with multiple data platforms (e.g. Power BI, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SQL, CRM systems) to extract, manipulate and analyse data?
  • Have you used data to investigate complex business questions, identify root causes, and provide recommendations that influenced business or client decisions?
  • Are you comfortable presenting analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business actions?
