Infrastructure Services Engineer (Cross Domain)

Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security sector are looking to increase their offering in the infrastructure services space and are currently recruiting for a Cross Domain Infrastructure Services Engineer. This role spans looking after the patching, configuration, and deployment of assured control devices that bridge different security boundaries within the environment. The opportunity offers the chance to be a pivotal and part of the team being the technical authority on Cross Domain activities. This role would be based on site in the office in Farnborough.

Due to the nature of the projects we are working on, we are only able to progress with candidates eligible for DV clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leveraging Garrison SAVI Isolation platform for collaboration of resources
• Maintenance of several cross domains in a multi-tenancy private cloud environment with an focus on automation as required
• Supporting the patching, configuration, and deployment of assured control devices that bridge different security boundaries within the environment.
• Engage with Senior internal and external stakeholders
• Manage deliverables in a highly pressurised, secure environment

• Experience working in a cross domain role in an enterprise environment
• Understanding of network fundamentals (Subnetting, VLANs, and different interface types)
• Unidirectional data diodes
• Garrison SAVI Appliances
• Conceptual awareness of cyber security FPDA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) devices
• API Gateways
