IT Support Specialist

• Provide desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and peripheral support.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, VPN, and business application issues.
• Serve as the primary IT resource for the assigned facility while assisting users across all company locations.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts, security groups, and Microsoft 365 resources.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and multi-factor authentication.
• Perform first-level application troubleshooting, gather logs, document issues, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory, equipment assignments, and technical documentation.
• Travel to regional sites for hardware deployments, upgrades, and project support.
• Follow security policies, identify potential risks, and assist with compliance and audit activities.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Business Applications teams to deliver reliable IT services., * The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sit or Stand as needed
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
• Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
• Proper lifting techniques required

SAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:

Each employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company’s need to achieve its business objectives. Each employee is responsible for complying with company hazardous waste disposal procedures.

• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and business applications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between company locations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in office and manufacturing environments.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar certifications are a plus., * 1-3 years of IT support experience or equivalent education and technical experience.
