Platform Engineer - Cloud, Kubernetes & AI Platforms

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer / DevOps Consultant with a strong focus on Linux, Kubernetes, cloud, and automation. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to grow into modern AI platform topics. Prior experience in this area is not required - what matters is a clear interest in learning and developing in this field.

• Build, operate, and further develop modern Linux-based platforms
• Administer and engineer Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or Rancher environments
• Design and implement cloud infrastructures on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including deployment and architecture-related tasks
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and Ansible
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based operating models
• Support monitoring, security, code scanning, automation, and reliability in line with a DevOps / SRE mindset
• Work with Git and artifact management solutions such as Nexus, JFrog, or Harbor
• Grow into AI-related platform topics such as OpenShift AI, KServe, vLLM, GPU infrastructure, and model serving
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders in demanding transformation projects

• Degree with a technical focus or a comparable IT qualification
• Experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Consultant, Cloud Engineer, or in a comparable role
• Strong Linux / infrastructure administration skills, ideally with Red Hat, SUSE, or CentOS
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, or Rancher
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler: Azure, AWS, or GCP, including practical project experience in deployments and architecture
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and GitOps, e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD
• DevOps / SRE mindset and experience with Git, artifact management, code scanning, and pipeline management
• Strong interest in AI platforms and motivation to learn topics such as OpenShift AI, AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes, KServe, vLLM, GPU infrastructure, and model serving
• Prior exposure to AI, data, or automation topics is a plus, but not required
• Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
