Job description

  • Translate requirements into effective solutions on the Snowflake platform
  • Ingest data into Snowflake and develop ETL pipelines
  • Build output datasets and data visualizations for clients
  • Write Python code for data processing and application support
  • Use visualization tools such as Shiny, Streamlit, or Superset
  • Apply SQL expertise for data manipulation and transformation
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to support data and application workflows
  • Build and test APIs for data integration
  • Leverage AI tools to support script and code development

Requirements

  • US Citizen (Public Trust eligible)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Experience with Snowflake and developing ETL pipelines
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services
  • Experience using container services such as Docker, Snowpark Container Services, ECS

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with visualization packages such as Shiny, Streamlit, or Superset
  • Experience building and testing APIs
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into efficient Snowflake-based solutions
  • Understanding of AI-assisted development tools
