Our client, a leader in vacation and rental solutions has an exciting IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer opportunity. This is a 3+ month contract/potential contract to hire position. This position is hybrid or can be 100% remote.
**While the position is Remote, you must live in a state where Istonish, Inc. has a registered entity: AZ, CO, FL, IL, KS, KY, MI, NC, NM, OK, TN, TX, UT, WI, WV.
As an IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll help our client accomplish their ambitious goals by providing dependable, unforgettable technology support. You’ll help lead company-wide deployments and projects that have a significant impact on the technology used day-to-day, while also keeping their systems and infrastructure stable, secure, and highly available. Our client approaches their work with a hospitality mindset, and they’re looking for someone who will bring that same mentality to their everyday work.
What you’ll do

Research, design, and implement company-wide IT projects, including SSO integration, certificate management, provisioning/deprovisioning of enterprise resources, and software testing

Architect, configure, and administer Okta as our identity provider - including user provisioning (JIT/SCIM), group rules, and access lifecycle management across integrated applications

Maintain a stable, reliable cloud-based network and systems infrastructure, including monitoring logs and system performance

Manage and monitor core Cisco Meraki infrastructure and application integrations across tier 1 platforms

Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools

Continuously improve IT service management practices in Freshservice - triaging, prioritizing, and resolving Level II and Level III tickets, and using the platform to track user administration, security, and hardware management requests

Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability through firmware/security updates and patching

Support the new hire onboarding process by preparing all IT systems; build, upgrade, and maintain workstation images (WDS) for Tier II business applications, keeping gold images up to date with the latest security patches across both macOS and Windows

Provide hands-on, cross-platform troubleshooting for complex hardware, OS, and application issues on both macOS and Windows in a corporate environment

Monitor and test network and application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes

Create and maintain departmental documentation and knowledge base articles, including system interdependencies and end-user documentation

Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure needs, This position is required to be in our client’s HQ downtown Denver office 5 days a week. This position will be supporting onsite IT office tasks and hardware equipment.
Requirements

5+ years of well-rounded, agnostic IT experience

Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, AWS, Salesforce, and DNS management

Demonstrated Okta expertise - you can speak to specific examples of provisioning users, building and maintaining group rules, and architecting SSO/SCIM integrations, not just day-to-day administration

Experience owning or heavily using an ITSM platform (Freshservice strongly preferred) - able to walk through a real scenario where you used an ITSM tool to manage, prioritize, or improve a support workflow

Proven cross-platform support skills: you can share concrete, specific examples of troubleshooting complex issues on both macOS and Windows in a corporate environment, not just one or the other
- Experience with a next-gen EDR solution such as CrowdStrike, * Okta: 5 years (Required)
- Freshservice: 1 year (Preferred)
- Google Workspace: 1 year (Preferred)
