Job description

Metro Professional Services, a distinguished 8(a) Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in professional services, aircrew training, and IT support, is seeking a qualified Security Administration Management professional to support a contract proposal for the 89th Attack Squadron (89th ATKS) at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota.

The selected candidate will be responsible for administering and managing the unit’s personnel, physical, and information security programs while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Air Force security directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain personnel security programs in accordance with AFMAN 16-1405.
  • Manage local security databases, rosters, and tracking systems.
  • Process security clearances, reinvestigations, and personnel in/out-processing.
  • Maintain security training records and conduct initial and recurring security briefings.
  • Prepare and maintain security continuity binders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct internal Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and support external security inspections.
  • Process, file, and safeguard personnel security investigation records.
  • Coordinate removable media control with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS/ADS), coordinating maintenance with Security Forces.
  • Process restricted area badges and classified access documentation.
  • Conduct security out-processing and escort uncleared personnel within secure areas when required.
  • Program and maintain IDS/ADS, cipher locks, and X-09 (or newer) locking devices.
  • Maintain and audit SF-700, SF-701, and SF-702 security documentation.
  • Update and distribute Entry Authorization Lists (EALs) to the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC).
  • Oversee daily security administration, Security Information Files (SIF), clearance tracking, and personnel processing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable DoD and Air Force regulations, including:
  • AFMAN 16-1405
  • AFMAN 16-1406
  • AFI 16-1404
  • DoD 5105.21 (Volumes 1-3)

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working within a TS/SCI environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in security administration or security program management.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting mission requirements in a secure environment., * PMP (Preferred)
