Job description

  1. Identify the business objectives for DIA’s clients; Study economic and statistical data in finance, transform these objectives into qualitative and quantitative analysis.

  2. Perform business intelligence analysis, conduct research on economic issues and disseminate research findings through technical reports offered by clients.

  3. Conduct financial modeling and machine learning simulations for clients to predict outcomes and calculate revenue, cost and profitability, and to quantify the economic impact of various scenarios for a company.

  4. Compile, analyze, and report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends, applying machine learning models and statistical techniques. Work with clients and external data vendors such as credit bureaus and online resources to gather information and data required for business analysis.

  5. Process and analyze customer data from various sources of customer characteristics by using SQL and Python to support client business projects, detect patterns, and provide advice and consultation on economic relationships to businesses.

  6. Execute discrete analysis such as: Profiling, by considering evolution of population characteristics over time; Segmentation, by separating population into distinct groups based on underlying metric using population and/or entity characteristics; and Modeling, by building statistical/economical models in order to establish relationships.

  7. Capture and interpret analysis findings and recommendations; translate findings into visually presentable pages and detailed presentations for clients.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics or Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

  • Must have at least Six (6) months of experience in machine learning, SQL, and Python

  • Must have knowledge of economic analysis, big data, machine learning, MapReduce, Apache Spark, Hadoop, accounting and finance analytics, statistical inference, descriptive statistics, regression analysis, Bayes Rule, Hypothesis Testing and Inference, unstructured data analysis, neural networks, time series, Python, object-oriented programs, Java, relational data model, SQL, Optimization, Simulation.
