Linux Embedded C/C++ Programmer

We are looking for a skilled Embedded C/C++ Programmer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing embedded software solutions on ARM-based processors, microcontrollers and DSPs. This role requires expertise in network socket programming, VLAN programming, and familiarity with PKI, AS-SIP, and SRTP protocols. The successful candidate will also have Linux administrative experience and possess the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. This is an on-site position due to the nature of our work., * Develop and implement embedded software solutions using C/C++ (C++ 14 and above) on ARM-based processors.

• Design and implement network socket programming and VLAN programming for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components.
• Test and debug embedded software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to embedded systems development.
• Assist in the maintenance and administration of Linux systems.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols for classified projects.
• Document software designs, requirements, and test procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Experience developing embedded software on ARM-based processors.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PKI, AS-SIP, and SRTP protocols is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Linux administrative experience is necessary.
• Familiarity with Yocto is a plus.
• Familiarity with Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with JITC requirements is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
