Job description

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of our Service Interface Module - a key platform component used globally to configure devices, orchestrate software installations, download software, and perform other critical activities that ensure seamless maintainability of medical devices in the field.

You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, engaging with multiple teams to deliver robust, high-quality software solutions used around the world.

Your Responsibilities would be:

  • Design, develop and maintain software components for the Service Interface Module.
  • Design and implement unit and system tests to ensure software reliability and compliance.
  • Support requirements engineering activities in collaboration with system engineers.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization, ensuring smooth integration of the Service Interface with connected products and services.
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of software development processes.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer experienced in large-scale, complex system design, ideally with the following background:

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, particularly C++.
  • Experience with build systems (e.g., CMake) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins - a plus).
  • Familiarity with test frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and VxWorks (advantageous).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including network access, security (TLS/SSL, certificates).
  • Experience with data transmission protocols.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
