  • Contribute to mobile app architecture and development for lightweight companion apps or app shells that support web-based tools.
  • Support testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing technical improvement of customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff to translate project goals into technical solutions with less need for handoff and cleanup between departments., Candidates may be especially successful in this role if they have worked in one or more of the following environments:
  • Small businesses or mission-driven organizations with limited internal technical capacity.
  • E-commerce and marketing technology environments involving Shopify, HubSpot, and multiple software integrations.

  • Hybrid roles that combine web development, platform management, troubleshooting, and applied software support.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and troubleshooting within Shopify CMS.
  • Experience with Liquid, Shopify’s template language.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting within HubSpot CMS.
  • Experience with HubL or equivalent templating/custom CMS tools.
  • Experience with server-side web development, such as PHP or comparable backend technologies.
  • Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and DNS configuration.
  • Experience with mobile app architecture and development, with examples of published or implemented work to discuss during the interview.
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems independently and move from issue identification to implementation and testing.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python for technical or product development work.
  • Familiarity with Java development.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI models, especially image classification workflows.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with app publishing workflows for Google Play and the Apple App Store.
  • Experience working in small teams where one person must cover both development and technical problem-solving across multiple systems.

Helpful Background, * Able to work independently and solve problems without extensive supervision.

  • Comfortable balancing urgent technical fixes with longer-term development work.
  • Interested in contributing across departments in a resource-constrained organization.
  • Strong communicator who can work with non-technical colleagues to clarify needs and test solutions.
  • Practical, adaptable, and willing to improve systems incrementally when a full rebuild is not realistic., * HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: 2 years (Required)
