  • Implement and enforce access controls, auditing, and data protection best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing database evidence, extracts, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Review weekly system vulnerability reports and support the triage, prioritization, and mitigation of identified findings.

Application & Business Support

  • Collaborate with developers and application teams on schema changes, stored procedures, CRON and batch jobs.
  • Support billing cycles, invoicing runs, collections processing, and reporting workloads.
  • Participate in change management, release readiness, and post implementation validation.
  • Provide on call or after-hours support

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Automate recurring administrative and fiscal processes where feasible.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce risk, improve performance, and enhance fiscal period execution.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills and Unix/Linux shell scripting experience.
  • Expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate effectively under deadlines and production pressures.

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting financial, billing, or collections systems with high data volumes and availability requirements.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, reporting platforms, or data warehousing integrations.
