Job description
- Supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in a dynamic Day Program setting
- Making sure daily programming meets Richmond’s standards of excellence
- Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals through educational, recreational, and community-based activities
- Keeping the Day Program running like clockwork - schedules, staff, support, and all the small details that make a big difference
- Reporting directly to the Day Program Manager and stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving forward
Requirements
You: A natural-born leader with a passion for people., * Have 1-2 years of supervisory experience (or have completed Richmond’s own Supervisory Training)
- Have at least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Are computer-savvy (Word, Excel, Outlook) and can write clearly and concisely
- Know how to balance structure with compassion, and confidence with flexibility
- Hold a valid driver’s license (NY, NJ, or CT) with 3+ years in good standing, * Have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent in healthcare or a related field
- Are the kind of person who brings calm, creativity, and kindness to a busy day
