Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled.NET Engineer with expertise in DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support medical imaging applications. Your focus will be on creating scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that enhance healthcare workflows and improve patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of health tech, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to make a meaningful impact., * Develop and maintain backend systems using.NET technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability for medical imaging applications.

  • Integrate DICOM standards into existing systems to facilitate seamless communication between imaging devices and healthcare platforms.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to enable efficient data exchange across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to create intuitive UI components using React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Conduct system design activities including UML modeling and architecture planning for new features or system upgrades.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests and perform debugging to ensure code quality and reliability across all platforms.
  • Participate actively in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and version control management with GitHub, TFS, or SVN.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with.NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 5/6) and C# for application development.
  • Strong understanding of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and SOAP-based web services.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, TypeScript, and related UI libraries like Bootstrap.
  • Hands-on experience with database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems architecture including microservices design patterns and multithreading techniques.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP), JSON/XML data formats, and system integration best practices.
  • Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, version control tools like GitHub or TFS, CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration/deployment.
  • Ability to develop secure applications adhering to healthcare standards such as DICOM for medical imaging interoperability.
  • Skills in application design using UML diagrams such as class diagrams and sequence diagrams; experience with system design for large-scale projects is a plus.
  • Strong debugging skills within Visual Studio or Eclipse environments; familiarity with Linux-based systems is advantageous.
