Job description

As a Microsoft 365 Engineer at HEMA, you will help build and run the digital workplace used by thousands of colleagues, fueling a great experience for them across stores, distribution centres and offices. Working within the M365 Chapter, you will design and develop smart agentic solutions using the Microsoft 365 platform, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and AI. This is a hands-on role where technology, ownership, and innovation come together, giving you the opportunity to make a visible impac the challenge As part of the Microsoft365 Chapter, you will work on digital solutions that enable colleagues to collaborate more effectively and work more efficiently, using a self-service paradigm. Microsoft 365 is a strategic platform within HEMA, with Azure, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and Copilot playing a key role. Example of a day in the M365 Chapter is translating business needs into enterprise grade, scalable solutions and taking ownership from design to implementation, support, and continuous improvement. You are our ideal candidate if you can jump in developing self-service solutions that allow employees to request digital services such a workspace through intelligent agents in Teams. You will be able to contribute to the realization of new digital workplace solutions for retail colleagues, gathering requirements, building prototypes, running pilots, and continuously improving solutions based on feedback. In addition, you will work on automation with Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, develop model-driven applications, and contribute to governance, security and identity & access management initiatives. We are not looking for a consultant who only advises; we are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 Engineer with a DevOps mindset who enjoys building, maintaining and improving solutions while taking ownership of what runs in production. what we offer

Requirements

You are a hands-on Microsoft Engineer who enjoys building and running solutions in an experienced team that takes ownership. You know how to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, think pragmatically, and understand the importance of delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. You are curious about emerging technologies, particularly AI, and thrive in an environment where operational excellence and continuous improvement go hand in hand. In addition, you bring:

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Approximately 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
  • Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate and/or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Experience with or affinity for model-driven applications, Dataverse and data modelling.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, governance, security and lifecycle management within Microsoft 365.
  • A proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a focus on delivering tangible results.
  • Interest in AI solutions such as Copilot, agents or GitHub Copilot is considered a plus.
