Job description

  • Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value in collaboration with an Account Executive. This includes owning the (or parts thereof) technical relationship with clients from a pre-sales point of view
  • Become a trusted technical advisor to your customers in the domain of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and/or Data Science
  • Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks. You will develop into a ‘champion’ and trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to lead the successful adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help build the Databricks community in your region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist.

  • Familiarity working with clients, creating a narrative, answering customer questions, aligning the agenda with important interests, and achieving tangible outcomes.
  • Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition, identify customers’ pain-points, and explain important areas for business value to develop a trusted advisor skillset.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, * A proactive mindset who likes to work as a part of a larger account team and enjoys to independently take ownership of technical topics and relationships

  • Proficient with Big Data Analytics and/or Data Science technologies, including hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
  • Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
  • Full professional proficiency in German preferred and English required
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurances preferred
