Job description
-
Pitch & Concept Decks Design and build the pitch decks, keynotes, and concept presentations that win rooms, for new business, leadership, and investors.
-
Presentation Systems Own the PowerPoint templates and presentation kit that keep 180+ people consistent, fast, and on brand.
-
Library & Order Build the internal home where everything lives: decks, templates, brand assets, organised so anyone can find the right, current version in seconds and nothing gets rebuilt from scratch.
-
Brand Stewardship Keep TSC’s visual identity sharp and unmistakable across every external-facing asset, in print and on screen.
-
Graphic Design Design the proposals, collateral, and brand assets that carry company-wide communication.
-
Brand Development Push the visual language forward as we grow: typography, motion, format, and expression.
-
Collaboration Work shoulder to shoulder with Strategy, New Business, Marketing, Creative, and the board, turning strategy into visuals people remember.
Requirements
- 5+ years in presentation design, brand design, or art direction, with a portfolio that proves it.
- Advanced PowerPoint (essential), plus Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, or Figma.
- A sharp eye for typography, layout, composition, and hierarchy.
- Experience building scalable brand systems and presentation templates.
- A knack for building order: clear naming, version control, and a home for assets people actually use.
- The ability to turn complex ideas into clear, persuasive, visual stories.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Fluent English.
You are:
- Calm, structured, and decisive when everything lands at once.
- Meticulous about detail and allergic to inconsistency.
- A natural bridge-builder between design, strategy, and the people who present the work.
Nice to have: a background in experiential design, architecture, technology, culture, or entertainment.
Benefits & conditions
- A rare ground-floor moment: help build the brand of a company that has only just begun.
- Ownership of one of our most visible creative disciplines.
- Ambitious, large-scale work for brands, cultural institutions, and artists.
- A collaborative, international team across five cities.
- Flexible working, Berlin or Amsterdam, hybrid, with time off in line with the market.
- We take the work seriously and ourselves a little less so. And no, we do not work with jerks.
About the company
The Storytelling Company is more than 180 people across Amsterdam, Zwaag, Berlin, Munich, and Charlotte.
We bring strategy, design, and technology together into experiences people can walk into, for global clients wherever they and their audiences are. A brand’s experience center. A maritime simulator, accurate down to the last real parameter. An opera, an exhibition, a pop-up that wasn’t there yesterday. Original worlds made to travel from one city to the next. Different scales, different briefs, one question underneath each of them: what does it feel like when this truly lands?
We work in close partnership with our clients and treat every project with the same care, for the people it reaches, the brands behind it, and the world around it. From the first idea to the last farewell note.
If any of that sounds like your kind of place, we’d like to meet you.
