Job description

As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting web-based applications that support critical 24x7 operational environments. You will work closely with project managers, technical team members, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions throughout the entire application lifecycle. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and integrated technology platforms while supporting operational and on-call responsibilities., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications and related services.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern web technologies.
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON, and AJAX.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Work closely with technical team members and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application deployment and support.
  • Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.
  • Support databases and data integration efforts across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to architecture and functionality.
  • Participate in technical on-call support rotations and respond to production issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in general application design and software development.
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with JSON, AJAX, REST APIs, and WebSocket technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of modern web application architecture and design principles.
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise web applications.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering requirements and supporting user acceptance activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Angular, Signals, and Angular Material preferred.
  • Experience with Java development and JDK technologies preferred.
  • Experience with application frameworks such as NestJS preferred.
  • Experience with Node.js development highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases preferred.
  • Experience with MongoDB preferred.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as NPM and TeamCity preferred.
  • Experience with YouTrack project management tools preferred.
  • Experience using development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, and Postman preferred.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration, storage, and cloud services preferred.
  • Experience supporting real-time operational systems and integrated technology environments preferred.
