Job description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and maintain cloud architecture for payment systems. This is a fully onsite role focused on building scalable, secure, and highly available systems. Responsibilities

Design, document, and implement AWS cloud architecture and routing logic for payment systems.

Lead the implementation of Kubernetes-based applications and Oracle databases in AWS.

Collaborate with engineering teams for smooth migration and integration.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Helm, and related tools.

Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other security standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during migration and post-deployment.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture.

Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and ArgoCD.

Proficiency in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Experience with Oracle databases and cloud migrations.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and GitOps.

Familiarity with payment systems and PCI-DSS compliance.

Must be willing to work fully onsite in Bad Homburg / Nürnberg.

EU/German work authorization required. Preferred Certifications

AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

Kubernetes / CKA / CKAD
