Job description

We are committed to meet the energy needs of a growing population and we are committed to the energy transition. The volatility of the energy trading markets requires excellence in risk management and a culture of innovation. We are fully embracing the digital revolution. Our people flourish in an environment that promotes expertise, entrepreneurship spirit, agility and a purpose-driven culture, generating boundless opportunities to learn, grow and achieve collaborative success. Reinforcing the competencies of our people is a key pillar of our culture: we train our people to ensure their development, and we pledge to encourage safety in all our actions. We look for passion, ambition and open-mindedness. While we evolve in a demanding industry that requests to be always on the edge, we cultivate a friendly workplace where our people feel good, where team spirit and respect guide our daily routine, where the diversity of our people and their skills create a nourishing experience for all of us. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a growing, purpose-led trading organization, with real exposure to the European power market. Activités As an Energy Data Portfolio Analyst, you will work closely with the Energy Data Management team members and focus on two scopes: the Iberian Peninsula Renewable scope, which includes several production sites (solar, hydro, and wind), and the Iberian Peninsula flexible assets scope. Over the past years, the team has automated most of its processes using Python, PowerQuery, Power BI, Databricks and Alteryx. The operational tasks of the EDM team involve:

  • Collecting volumetric power data from multiple external and internal sources and retrieving any missing volumes.
  • Ensuring data consistency by comparing current data with historical records and other sources but also by building some coherence checks to identify anomalies.
  • Injecting validated data into the internal database and producing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure data quality. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and executing these operational tasks, developing new controls to improve data reliability, and contributing to the issuance of Guarantees of Origin. This role offers the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the Iberian Peninsula energy market structure, collaborate with Originators, Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, and interact with external stakeholders such as Red Electrica and Redes Energéticas Nacionais. You will strengthen your programming expertise across multiple languages and actively support the migration to next-generation tools and platforms. Profil du candidat, TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP) is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies (mainly gas, LNG and power). As such it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution. Uncertainties specific to the trading environment (volatility of prices, supply & demand mismatches) are coupled with those coming from the broader energy sector (climate change policies, changes in the energy mix, developments of new energy sources, etc). In such context TGP helps to ensure growth and profitability to a key segment of the business in order to reach the objective of Carbon Neutrality by 2050.Inscribirse en esta oferta Recibir ofertas similares por correo electrónico Al crear una alerta, aceptas nuestros Términos y condiciones y Política de privacidad, y el uso de cookies.
