Job description

Our core development focus is the host interface firmware layer that sits in the intersection of system software and flash management firmware. This key host interface firmware technology drives breakthrough V-NAND technology and enables our customers to power performance-oriented, demanding, enterprise-class applications ranging from hyper-scale data centers, to big data processing, to software defined virtualized storage arrays and infrastructures. We are committed to developing the next generation of enterprise solid-state flash technologies. Our Enterprise-class SSD’s are expected to be of the highest quality, therefore we seek a highly-experienced Test Engineer to drive continual improvement in the quality of our test infrastructure. This position will define, implement and support functional test coverage to validate NVMe FW. Other critical activities will be to constantly monitor and analyze test coverage and deploy new tools and capabilities into the daily regression cycles. Other duties will include monitoring quality metrics to ensure trends are demonstrating a constant improvement in product quality.

Requirements

  • Test engineer in the NVMe Customer Qualification test team in enterprise product division.
  • Will work on NVMe Solid State Drives on execution and debug of OEM drive qualification tests.
  • Understand test scripts and debug failures that arise during test execution with the development team.
  • Experience in at least 1 front-end storage protocol like NVMe/PCIe, FC, SAS.
  • Experience programming/scripting background (Perl, Shell or Python)
  • Experience with SSD or HDD testing is a plus.
  • Must have experience with enterprise storage systems setup, testing and debugging.
  • Familiar with one of the protocol analyzers like LeCroy, SerialTek, or Xgig.
  • Experience with system or device-level performance analysis.

We encourage Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans and Disabled individuals to apply for all positions that they may be qualified for. We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing and background checks
