Job description

This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.

Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Executes and documents Interface Test Plans
  • Carries out vendor to vendor testing with client/vendor(s) or third-party vendor(s)
  • Consults with the client and /or vendor as needed to test, implement the reference lab interface
  • Maintains knowledge of status of all interfaces under installation, providing such information as requested
  • Reviews problems encountered during interface testing phases to determine if original specifications must be revised to accommodate requests by the client
  • Assists the client and provides technical support during integrated testing of foreign system interfaces and/or reference lab interfaces
  • Consults with programmers and product teams as needed to complete implementation and delivery of interfaces and accurately documents quality testing and support to the client
  • Complies with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Successful interaction/communication with Labcorp external and internal clients
  • Client system maintenance as necessary
  • Troubleshooting issues related to Labcorp and clients LIS
  • Builds/Validates client test tables, files and or setups, The Integration Analyst is responsible for the proper coordination of vendor, client and Labcorp to ensure successful implementation of reference lab interfaces between client and Labcorp.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 2 or more years of healthcare experience.
  • 2 or more years of experience with understanding HL7 interface requirements/specifications
  • 2 or more years of experience in the usage, file building, and troubleshooting of laboratory information systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in a service-related field clinical laboratory
  • 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Additional Qualifications

  • Proven excellent customer service skills
  • Broad understanding of the clinical laboratory environment and operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Designed, installed, validated, and maintained interfaces for a clinical laboratory or related setting
  • Ability to keep documentation up to date
  • Current or previous experience at Labcorp

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $90K - 120K annual salary

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees / certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
