Job description
We are looking for a Data Hub Tech Lead for our medtech client! This german company is a TOP lead in the medical industry, renowned for its commitment to innovative solutions in patient care. With a legacy spanning decades, they are currently expanding their Tech Hub in Barcelona. As a Data Hub Tech Lead, you will lead the technical evolution and act as Technical Product Owner for operational Data & Analytics components of customer-facing digital products centered around better healthcare! - Lead the technical evolution and act as Technical Product Owner for operational Data & Analytics components of customer-facing digital products.
- Build on an established setup and ensure data-centric solutions that fully leverage their data governance framework.
- Align closely with their Data-Analytics and AI Teams to apply organizational standards for infrastructure and governance.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for ingesting and processing internal API and streaming device data using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other standard Azure data services.
- Oversee the development of event-based, real-time analytics to power dashboards and analytical frontends for business and clinical customers.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure data solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices in cloud data engineering and analytics.
- Ensure ongoing compliance, data quality, and high operational standards in a regulated environment. Tech Stack: SQL, Python (PySpark, Pandas), Azure Cloud, Databricks, Azure Factory or similar.
Requirements
- Strong experience in architecting and delivering cloud-based data analytics solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and event-driven data architectures.
- Proficiency in data processing languages (e.g. Python/PySpark, SQL) and managing large-scale data operations.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements (experience in healthcare or regulated sectors is a plus).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking in Azure.
- Fluent in english.
- Comfortable with agile enviroments.
- Comfortable in a collaborative, matrixed organization with shared decision-making.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (regulated sectors or healthcare are a nice-to-have!
