Join a collaborative Agile team developing modern, cloud-native applications that support critical national security and GEOINT missions. You’ll build secure, scalable software across the full technology stack while working alongside experienced engineers, architects, and mission experts.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications
  • Build modern web applications, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle
  • Work within Agile teams using Scrum best practices
  • Collaborate with product owners, mission users, and engineering teams
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
  • Perform code reviews and promote high-quality, maintainable software
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve software defects
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement, Work on mission-critical software alongside talented engineers using modern technologies, Agile development, and cloud-native architectures to deliver capabilities that directly support national security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2-6 years
  • Experience with one or more of:
  • Python
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • Go
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as:
  • React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, or Flask
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile development using JIRA and Confluence
  • Understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, and secure development practices
  • Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, or other government security requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • UI/UX and responsive web development
  • OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible)
  • AWS services including:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • RDS
  • SQS/SNS
  • CloudFormation
  • AWS GovCloud or C2S experience
  • Intelligence Community or Federal Government experience
  • Geospatial technologies such as:
  • GeoServer
  • PostGIS
  • OGC APIs
  • ESRI ArcGIS, * Bachelor’s (Required)

Experience:

  • AWS: 2 years (Required)
  • Software development: 4 years (Required)

  • Top Secret (Required)
