Job description

* Provide overall cybersecurity program management for assigned classified and unclassified information systems. * Oversee execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), including categorization, control selection, assessment, and authorization activities. * Manage the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process and maintain system security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, risk assessments). * Direct and oversee ISSOs and cybersecurity staff supporting assigned systems. * Oversee continuous monitoring and vulnerability management programs, ensuring timely remediation of identified risks. * Serve as the primary cybersecurity interface with the government Authorizing Official (AO) and customer cybersecurity staff. * Ensure compliance with applicable DoD/IC cybersecurity policy (e.g., DoDI 8510.01, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253). * Report cybersecurity incidents and coordinate response activities in accordance with program requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related) or equivalent experience. * Active TS/SCI clearance. * Experience (10+ years) in cybersecurity/information assurance, including RMF/accreditation experience. * DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II or III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent). * Demonstrated experience managing ATO packages and engaging with Authorizing Officials. * Strong knowledge of RMF, CNSSI 1253, and applicable IC/DoD cybersecurity directives.

Preferred Qualifications * CI polygraph. * Experience with eMASS and/or Xacta accreditation tools. * Prior experience as an ISSM supporting IC or USSF/DoD space programs. * Master’s degree in a related technical field.
