Cloud Engineer

Manage the client’s Research and Development (R&D) environment in the client’s cloud environments -Provide technical support for integration and deployment of applications into the client’s cloud production environment -Provide guidance, recommendations, and technical assistance on cloud, hardware platforms and operational system software -Monitor and take responsive actions on system alarms and audit events -Ensure patch compliance and version updates on all software up to and including middleware required by client applications -Identify and assess integration and interoperability (I&I) challenges in system and service development plans, considering technical, programmatic, and mission dimensions -Perform all Operations and Maintenance support to the client portfolio. These O&M activities may include maintaining system descriptions and specifications, technical SLA compliance, system administration, compliance management routine operations, database administration, knowledge management, configuration management, systems engineering and architecture, deployment support, monitoring and metrics, bug fixes, change request and auditing. This support includes but is not limited to: Implementing and monitoring the cloud-based environment for applications to optimize cost, performance, and security

Demonstrate experience automating configuration and provisioning of cloud resources -Demonstrate experience configuring and administrating Amazon Linux, and Windows OS -Demonstrate experience automating and scripting using Bash and Terraform -Demonstrate experience installing and managing Apache, Tomcat and Express servers -Demonstrate experience with AWS CloudFormation Templates, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Security Groups, S3 and KMS -Demonstrate experience providing technical support for integration and deployment of applications into a cloud production environment -Demonstrate experience OpenSSL and TLS encryption protocols
