At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Full Stack Java Developer, a typical day will include the following duties/skills:

Responsible for working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: Java application integration, java enterprise services on an AWS Platform.

Requirements

Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), JSTL, Responsive
Web Design (RWD),jquery, jquery UI
Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC, Oracle Database. Web Server: Tomcat
Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,
Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine
Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
Implement the product’s lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Experience working in an Agile development environments

Desired Skills:

Front End Skills: Angular, Salesforce
Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible.
Documented Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes
Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development

*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance., Preferred

BA/BS or better.
