At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Full Stack Java Developer, a typical day will include the following duties/skills:

Responsible for working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: Java application integration, java enterprise services on an AWS Platform.

Requirements

  • Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), JSTL, Responsive
  • Web Design (RWD),jquery, jquery UI
  • Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC, Oracle Database. Web Server: Tomcat

  • Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,
  • Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine
  • Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
  • Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
  • Implement the product’s lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
  • Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
  • Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Experience working in an Agile development environments

Desired Skills:

  • Front End Skills: Angular, Salesforce
  • Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible.
  • Documented Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development

*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance., Preferred

BA/BS or better.
