Job description

Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, and provide timely feedback to stakeholders. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentation. Design, develop, and execute automated tests. Identify, resolve, and track bugs. Perform regression tests. Manage automation frameworks and test databases within our CI/CD framework., Frontend and Single Page Applications: We use JavaScript (ES2015+, Node.js, Vue.js, Yarn, npm, etc.). Backends: Our services are primarily based on Spring Boot and Apache Camel, made available via REST or message queues. Integrations of third-party providers: We integrate various products from third-party providers and use APIs from providers like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and 1&1. Code quality: High code quality is very important to us; test code is treated with the same seriousness as production code. Continuous Delivery: Our Continuous Delivery System allows us to roll out new software multiple times a day in various environments, simply by merging and tagging with Git, Helm, and Jenkins. Operations: We primarily operate our applications as Docker containers in a Private Cloud Managed Kubernetes cluster. Monitoring and analysis: We use centralized logging (ELK), Prometheus, Grafana, and Icinga for analyzing metrics and monitoring our production operations. Requirements

Do website errors catch your eye, and do you feel the urge to fix them? Have you already gained experience in identifying optimization potential in web services and working with service mocking tools? If you’re committed to excellence and have experience in process and test automation, join our agile QA team. As a senior member, you’ll lead projects, offer mentoring, and help shape our test strategy. Bring decisive insights into dependencies, requirements, and risks, and become part of our international, highly motivated team!, Proven in-depth experience (at least 3-4 years) in testing web applications and APIs, as well as developing automated tests. Strong knowledge of software QA methods, tools, and processes. Programming skills in at least one language, preferably Java. Practical experience with automated test tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured). Experience with Linux/Unix shell. Knowledge of modern web services (REST, API standards, HTTP protocol, etc.) and SQL databases; working knowledge of JUnit. Experience working in an agile environment. High team spirit, analytical thinking, and high quality awareness; openness to constructive feedback and implementation of process improvements. Successfully completed technical-oriented studies or comparable qualifications. Fluent English skills, German as a plus. A plus: experience in CI/CD DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes.
