Job description

The Cloud 4 Marketing team at Making Science is the department responsible for accelerating our clients’ digital transformation through advanced data capabilities, cloud-based architectures, and marketing technology solutions. We help brands build end-to-end, scalable, and privacy-ready ecosystems by integrating data collection, measurement, analytics, automation, and activation across platforms such as Google Cloud, BigQuery, GMP, CRM solutions, and first-party data environments. Our mission is to empower companies to make smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions by combining strategic consulting with deep technical expertise.

What we’d like you to do Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Implement, configure and manage tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager, including Server-Side GTM. Develop and deploy applications in serverless environments such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions. Configure Load Balancer and Cloud Run service. Ensure security best practices across systems, including WAF configuration and SSL implementation. Apply DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support data integration and transformation workflows. Use SQL (BigQuery) for data modeling and feature engineering. Develop robust data solutions in Python, applying OOP principles, package development, and data wrangling techniques. Create insightful dashboards and reports using Looker Studio or Power BI.

Requirements

Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform and its data ecosystem. Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices and modern data architectures. Experience with serverless technologies (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions). Solid understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC). Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation. Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI. Knowledge of web tracking and tagging ecosystems (GTM, Server-Side GTM). Strong focus on security and performance optimization. Minimum 5 years of experience Mandatory: Google Certified Professional Data Engineer certification.
